We are truly in it to help people and are very client centered. People find us approachable and we develop long-lasting personal relationships with our clients.
We are a consumer advocacy firm focusing on financial needs including debtor/creditor law, mortgage law, debt settlement and bankruptcy. Sara J. Mobley is a graduate of Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law in Dallas, Texas, where she graduated cum laude. Sara managed to pursue her personal interests in helping people and animals while attending law school; she was a student attorney and Chief Justice in the Civil Clinic, one of the first members of the Dallas Young Lawyers Animal Welfare Committee, and founded and operated a non-profit animal rescue corporation which became one of the most recognized rescue organizations in the metroplex. Prior to law school, Sara graduated from South Dakota State University with majors in journalism and communications studies/theatre and a minor in sociology. Sara’s interest in consumer finance and credit was developed while she pursued a career in corporate training and development at Premier Bankcard and Citigroup.
Sara honed her legal skills working in construction defect firms in Portland, OR where she defended architects and other construction professionals in multi-million dollar suits. Dissatisfied with the lack of client contact and her overwhelming desire to help individuals, Sara left the large firm setting and trekked out on her own, founding S.J. Mobley & Associates, LLC in 2008. Using knowledge of the financial industry’s internal workings, the firm quickly developed a stellar reputation with mortgage lenders and credit card companies. Realizing that clients wanted a single, trusted resource for all their financial/legal needs, the firm developed into a full-service financial consumer advocacy firm, offering tax and bankruptcy services. If Sara isn’t with her clients or at the firm, you’ll most likely find her at a local park reading up on the latest in mortgage law. She also enjoys anything involving animals, horseback riding, playing tennis, and trying anything new. She is looking forward to exploring Colorado and some of the local’s favorite activities.
Involved in animal rescue and animal advocacy, tennis, horseback riding, hiking, reading and researching to keep on top of my areas of law, traveling to new places and learning new activities.
