Our firm is physically located in Denver, Colorado, but we have clients located throughout the U.S. for pre-litigation matters and negotiations. We are a consumer advocacy firm, meaning our sole goal is to help you, the consumer. The majority of our practice focuses on debtor-creditor law, mortgage law, foreclosure defense, and bankruptcy. Our attorneys have strong backgrounds in the financial industry and a true desire to help people. We believe in a personal approach to the law and getting to know our clients. It’s not at all uncommon for our clients to stay in touch after their legal issue is resolved or stop by just to say “Hi”.

S.J. Mobley & Associates was founded on the belief that as legal professionals, we not only have the privilege of practicing law, but we also have the responsibility to use the law to improve society and benefit the community. Oddly enough, a lot of people think the only way to do this is to take on huge cases like you would see in movies like “Erin Brockovich” or “A Civil Action”. Granted, that’s one way to make a difference in society but that’s not our approach. We focus on improving society and benefiting the community one client at a time. Sure, we would love the rush of arguing in front of the Supreme Court, but there’s no way that rush could compare to seeing a client’s relief when their debt is settled or they learn they aren’t going to lose their family home. Every day we get to practice law and help people just like you – nothing could beat that.
